He has served with the U.S. Army and participated in overseas deployments. After his military service, he proceeded to work for defense companies on numerous defense projects. His two major assignments were at the U.S. Army Kwajalein Missile Range in the Marshall Islands, and the Atlantic Undersea Testing and Evaluation Center (AUTEC)/Naval Underwater Warfare Center (NUWC), Andros Island in the Bahamas.
Gideon is currently working in South West Asia (Iraq and Afghanistan) for a defense company. Prior to his redeployment, he attended and Electronic Warfare Overview course held at the Natural Physics Laboratory, John Hopkins University in Maryland. He recently completed a course on Advanced RF Electronic Warfare Principles a Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) in Atlanta, Georgia.
